During our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia We enter and leave Vietnam through Ho Chi Minh City. This city was not at all the one we liked most about the itinerary, but we could enjoy local cuisine in four different restaurants. When looking for where to eat, we ask people from Ho Chi Minh to recommend places and, now we want to share with you. All of them are in the downtown area (district 1), near where we had our hotel.
DI KI (137 Nguyen Trai): a chain that has four restaurants in the city. The menu is very extensive and also in English, but it is so extensive that it will cost you to decide what to eat. They have a great selection of fish and seafood dishes. The place is a bit austere, but authentic Vietnamese food is eaten in a very local atmosphere. The meal for two cost us 225,000 dongs.
PREM (129/4 Vo Van Tan):This vegetarian bistro is at the end of a small alley (it may cost a little to find) and has a very friendly atmosphere Zen and beware. His menu is based on vegetarian dishes of both international and Asian cuisine. The atmosphere in this small restaurant is very relaxed and is ideal for evenings as a couple. Dinner for two cost us 223,000 dongs and the dishes are very complete.
