When we travel, one of the things I take care of the most is the footwear I will wear during the trip. I have a little capricious feet and that, added to the hours we usually walk when we travel, can result in a disastrous foot pain if I do not choose the right footwear with love.

During the trip to Botswana I had the opportunity to release my Classic Panama Jack, the iconic boots that are already a benchmark of the brand. We all have them in the collective memory because it was the footwear worn by adventurers and explorers of the Quetzal Route with Miguel de la Quadra-Salcedo at the head of the team. I remember that while we were doing hiking through the Moremi canyon I was talking with Xavi about the comfort of the boots and then I discovered that he, like many people, did not know that the Panama Jack brand is 100% Spanish.

The factory is in the Alicante town of Elche and since 1989 they have prepared by hand and with great care every pair of shoes, boots or sandals that leave their factory. And that artisanal way of working, together with a team of shoemaker professionals, gives it extraordinary quality and unique comfort that adds to the great performance of the boot. The classic boots I used during the trip to africa they didn't chase me at any time, and that I released them on that trip and we did a couple of trekkings; correctly hold the ankle, something essential when walking on winding roads so as not to suffer sprains; and they are also superimpermeable, something that was fully demonstrated when when getting off the mokoro in the Okavango Delta I put my feet in the mud almost to half a boot and not even a hint of water came in.

Although the explorer type boots are the most famous model of the brand, it has a great variety of footwear for women, men and children. To the explore your website I was surprised to see so many models and threw my eye on high-top boots fully lined with hair inside for the trip to Finland I did in January. Panama Jack It has a wide range of hair boots, which are very warm and comfortable to wear in winter. The boots that I use are the ones with turned leather (Mirabella model) and, like the classic ones, they are also waterproof and very comfortable. Ideal for stroll through Helsinki and Stockholm with a trendy look while warm.

What is clear is that my Panama Jack my travel companions have become inseparable and I am sure that we will travel a lot of world together.
