Everything good has an end. And that was our last day in Japan, so we dedicated it to shopping. Too bad that just that day the yen got through the clouds and I could hardly buy anything. But that didn't stop me from going to my two favorite clothing stores: the American GAP and the Japanese UNIQLO in Omotesando.

Akihabara

GAP in Japan is like a more chic store than in the US, and as soon as I walked through the door a clerk came to help me very kindly. There were many things that I liked but I missed the budget, although in the end I managed to find a pair of sweaters that were well priced. In the GAP there is always a part where they have cheaper balances throughout the year. What surprised me the most is that when I entered the locker room they gave me like a white gauze that I didn't know what it was for and I didn't understand the shop assistant when she explained it to me ... so mystified I entered the locker room and didn't use it. At night we had stayed with my friend Yuka to go to dinner and she explained that the gauze was to put it on her head when you put on your clothes so as not to stain her with makeup. What a good idea! It had not fallen, but of course, the Japanese are in everything. Or is it not disgusting to try on a white T-shirt with the smeared makeup that all those who have tried before have left?

Sarari-man having dinner and drinking in a bar under the tracks in Ginza.

After kicking Harajuku, Omotesando, Shibuya and Akihabara, we went to Ginza and at the exit of the Yurakucho (JR) station there was a stand where deaf saleswomen sold "mochi" (Japanese sweet). The mochi inside had cream, sponge cake and a strawberry, and in my life I had eaten none so good! : 9

In the afternoon we went to Harajuku again, where we had met for dinner with Yuka. Yuka took us to a very cool and super fashion restaurant that was in a basement. There they served a meal based on many small plates that they brought and explained to us what they were, Ferran Adrià style! 😛 All the dishes were great and I had a great time talking and joking with her.
