A week and a few days after returning from Japan, I already have the strength to start commenting on this trip.

Tokyo airport is Narita international airport. It is a huge airport and it took us about three hours to get out of there. On the plane they gave us the two cards we had to fill in to pass immigration. One of them is the “CUSTOM DECLARATION” in which you are asked if you carry prohibited items, the money you carry, etc. and the other card is the "EMBARKATION / DISEMBARKATION CARD FOR FOREIGNER" to be filled in with personal data and the reasons for the trip, etc. The good thing about this airport is that if you lose it or you are wrong in the immigration part you can take another one.

Okaerinasai / Welcome to Japan

The first thing we did was to go through customs and get our visa and passport stamp. What surprised me is that this time they took a picture of me and they took my fingerprint, as in the US, which was not three years ago. After the rigorous questions we went to collect the bags and pass the baggage check. Before going out the door there is a policeman who asks you where you come from, what you are coming from and if you carry something not declared in your suitcase, and depending on what you look like they open it or not. Luckily, the policeman, who wanted to practice English, did not open it, so he did not discover the batch of sausages we had to give away.
