In addition to conferences and having the opportunity to meet other travel bloggers, the Travel Blogger Meeting It also gives you the opportunity to carry out activities to learn more about the area where it is celebrated. Thanks to Asenorg's extraordinary organization, the bloggers we attended were able to enjoy the active tourism in Gredos Norte through different initiatives.

On Saturday night we get a place to see the cosmos in the astronomical observatory located in the hotel El Milano Real. It was the ideal weekend, because there was "super moon", but it was cloudy all the time and in the end the activity was canceled. Anyway, we will have to wait for another occasion to see Venus, Mars and Saturn.

Centennial Pines

On Sunday morning, we got up soon as we were able to go to make a route interpreted by the Valdeascas Gorge. If you wonder what an interpreted route is, it consists of hiking with a biologist as a guide that explains all the particularities of the route. A luxury!

At half past ten in the morning, we met Juan Fran de Gredos Guides and from there we drove a few minutes to the Valdeascas camp, where we started the route. The path is very easy, so it is suitable for almost everyone. Along the way, Juan Fran was explaining to us what we were seeing: centenary and very hugging pines, badger dens, rock daffodils, Graells daffodils, Solomon's seals, hallucinogenic mushrooms and even carnivorous miniplants (seriously).
