We arrived in Mexico

From this little chicha day I can explain, since the 20 hours of travel ate everything. Safety measures to travel to the US UU. they were much more Light that at the time of travel to New York. They only asked us some questions about luggage and destination before checking in and little else. On the plane, US Airways ended up being, if possible, more cumbersome than Delta Airlines: there was a screen for the whole plane that put the same schedule and on top of the headphones to listen to the movies were worth 4 euros. Total, we decided to try to sleep the maximum of the 9 hours that our flight lasted until Philly.

When descending to Philadelphia, all that was seen were large expanses of grove. When I passed immigration, I got the good cop and my partner the bad guy: why had he been in Egypt? And in Jordan? ... At the airport we almost died of hypothermia because the air conditioning was full. Although we had 5 hours until the flight departure to Cancun, we decided not to visit the city because they had advised me that arriving in the city and then re-passing the security checks could mean suicide, or rather: having all the ballots to miss the flight. So there we stayed, playing One and eating huge amounts of crab fries with cheese sauce in a sports bar, since on the flight of Philly to Cancun they didn't serve food.

On the flight I fell asleep almost during the 4 hours it lasted and, finally, after 20 hours of travel, we landed in Cancun. We deliver the immigration card and move on to baggage control in which we deliver the agriculture cards. Before leaving, they made you press a button to see if you had a suitcase control or not, as if it were a lottery draw. Luckily, neither of us touched. Before leaving the terminal there is the tourist office, car rental offices, the windows where bus tickets to the center are bought, and hiring positions for shared or private taxis. There was no one at the bus agency counter, so we decided to go outside to see if the bus was there, since on the Internet I saw that the last one left at 11 pm. The problem is that once it leaves the terminal it cannot be re-entered. ALL A TRAP FOR TOURISTS.

The bus was not there and a taxi driver approached us to tell us that no more was going to happen, that since it was the last flight of the day there were no more, and that a taxi to downtown Cancun (15 minutes from the airport) was worth $ 60 or 600 pesos PER PERSON (38 euros per person). Often armed robbery, but the prices are stipulated. In fact, I had a table with prices already established with all distances. Anyway, I refused to pay that and went to the terminal to see if I could get something clear. Although I said that it was forbidden to enter, I waited for someone to leave to open the doors and sneak in, but in those who approached one of security to tell me that I could not enter. However, I put on my pouting face and explained my problem and the good man let me through.
