Barcelona It is a multicultural city where a special fascination for the East has always been felt. We are not an exception, so we decided to dedicate a girls plan Very special to enjoy everything that Asia and the immediate regions to this continent offer us in our city.
The plan began in the middle of the morning, in the Eixample district, in the cooking school Espai Boisa. This space offers group and personalized cooking classes, in a very relaxed and cool with the maximum of fun while you learn to cook. The workshop we did was a masterclass Indian cuisine with the chef Anjalina.
The menu we had to prepare consisted of a shot of lassi (appetizer), samosas of filo pastry stuffed with potatoes and peas with chutney mango (starter), Goa-style fish curry with lemon scented rice and mustard seeds (main course) and, for dessert, mango cream and pistachios with a touch of anise. The menu promised a lot, so we got to work.
We all arranged around the big table with two hot plates and we followed the chef's instructions. The first thing we prepared was the dessert, to let it rest in the fridge while we prepared the rest of the menu.
Chef Anjalina explained the basics of Indian cuisine and we learned a little more about the species, basic in this type of cuisine, such as turmeric, cumin, cilantro, cardamom and red chili, although we put the latter just a little.

Servant, which is a little kitchenette, he had a pipe in the workshop and I learned a lot, in fact I have incorporated some of the spices that I mentioned in my traditional recipes to give them a new touch.
After cooking everything, we sat at the table. The Cooking school Espai Boisá It has multiple spaces and, in addition to the cooking school, it also has a very nice patio and has several tables, one of them with up to 18 people, where you can then eat the dishes that are prepared. You can also count on professional waiter service.
It was all super good
The food was delicious and we wanted to repeat in another of the multiple workshops they organize, such as Lebanese, Japanese, Peruvian, etc ... We already know what to do in the next girls plan.
